It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

We're talking about the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the record chasers, are all that remain for a side that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batters to maintain a record if never given the chance.

Some will argue the case for final game tension. Others can counter with the test that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was much more difficult to predict.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she topped the run-scoring charts, but this knock came after six matches in India since the start of last month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it has been a frustrating experience because I feel like I've had no rhythm completely," said Healy.

"But once you step out on the field, your competitive nature activate and you completely engage with the match."

Healy's fighting spirit has consistently been her major advantage - and a priceless quality in replacing famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

A single came off the opening delivery and from that point the batsman was on her way.

"An opportunity to take the field and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun that way, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was removed her side required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they left last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.
