Without key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.

This match offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a well-taken finish. The contest was effectively over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some comically weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his very first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for development in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the traveling side.
